A simple tweet from Joanne Tubbs, of Des Moines, Iowa, mother of Carl Tubbs. A twelve year old boy being bullied from other students from taking Irish dancing lessons. NFL Baltimore Ravens running back Alex Collins, who is known for being open about dancing the Irish jig being apart of his training, responded to Joanne Tubbs tweet. Besides being a talent on the field, Alex Collins is proud of his other talent, Irish dancing. For Alex Collins, Irish dancing helps him stay fast and light on his feet.

Not only did Alex Collins respond to the tweet, he offered to meet Carl in Minnesota for his game. It was a great day for Carl, he received a signed football and was given the opportunity to meet Alex’s teammates before and after the game.
